A Home For Play

A family of four sought rural refuge and a reconnection to homestead living, after years in their beloved home in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH. They loved the starting point of a design that met all of their needs, and worked with our team to adapt the finer points to the rhythms of their daily life. Fun additions like an indoor rope swing, an over-stair hammock, and a drop-down screen for family movie night were features thought through and incorporated during design. The direct access to their property via matching Logic lift-and-slide doors opens their connection to the land, and the ample sun in all spaces brings joy and warmth to a forever-family home.
